Fall equals popcorn say what?!

The coolness is in the air. The weather was gloomy and cold today. It was the perfect day. It was supposed to rain all day, but I know those meteorologists lie a lot. Especially here in Colorado. It didn't start raining until the evening. That is okay, at least it wasn't 100°.

I went over to Hillary's today to keep her company, and along the way I found these pretty trees. Yes, truly the sign of Fall right there. Just beautiful.

After getting there, we proceeded to make popcorn balls. I wanted to do caramel, Hillary, not so much. We ended up making them with melted marshmallows. Instead of rice crispies, we used popcorn, which was made in an awesome popcorn pot. No microwaved popcorn here. Oh my heavens, it is the best tasting popcorn EVER. I am so going to have to buy me some popcorn kernels now, and just make some popcorn that way. It was kind of chaotic over there, so I didn't get many pictures. Just some of the finished product.

~*They were heavenly!*~

Man, I really ♥ this time of year!

Oh those look good - I haven't had popcorn balls since I was a kid. And they look so good I am not even going to make a joke about balls.

Thanks, now I want kettle corn. Dinner should be ready soon, hopefully. It's hard to concentrate on homework when you're hungry, your brother is playing a game obnoxiously loud and blogs that need to be read.
