Best Place For Some Quiet Time
Alright so I absolutely love cemeteries. I have always loved cemeteries. I don’t know what it is about them that I love. Maybe it’s the solitude and the serenity. Maybe somewhere to run when you need peace and quiet. Though if you listen very carefully, you just might hear the voices of the spirits.
Some say that you don’t always go to “heaven” as some people call it, but stay here earthbound. I do have to say I watch Ghost Whisperer, however, I don’t know if the spirits stay due to unfinished business. What if they chose to stay? What if there is no such place as “heaven” or for that matter, “hell”?
I have had my experiences with ghosts, and that I will save for another blogging topic, but it was nothing harmful or hurtful. Just a little “Hi I am here.”
Any way, any time I pass a cemetery, I just have to go in. I love taking pictures, though I have not caught anything on digital. I don’t think that the spirits mind me taking the pictures, and they may one day decide to show themselves. I would love to travel the states just to see all the different cemeteries, maybe one day I will have that chance. So far I haven’t made it to that many cemeteries, yet.
I do feel most at peace when I am sitting there in the cemetery. I do talk out loud to see if I get any response, but nothing yet. I am sure I get the weirdest of looks, but hey that’s okay, they just don’t understand.

Hmmm I never thought of going to a cemetery. I usually like being in old placed that have alot of history. And I'm a big fan of Ghost Hunters myself. :-D
Oh my gosh I ♥ Ghost Hunters! Awesome show. I love to get out my EVP recorder every now and then to see if I can catch "them" talking. When in Black-Hawk I was in the elevator with my EVP and said hi, and a male voice said "hey." Mind you there were only 2 chicks in the elevator. ~*sigh*~ It's just awesome.
I understand what you mean. Cemeteries have a lot of character. There is something uniquely peaceful about them.

I am fascinated by cemeteries myself.
Had a college humanites class once where we had to sit in three different cmeteries for an hour each and write a story about someone from a headstone we chose. The stories were full of sentiments, regrets, sadness, anger, fright, macabre, love and hope. Not in any order.
OWT: That is a great class assignment. I am sure those stories were completely awesome. Thank you for your comment.
i had to stop by...
