Oh it was gorgeous, quiet with pure solitude. It is great when the kids are at school, because you can actually walk down on the rocks without fear of getting splashed by the frigid cold waters. I do not know how those kids can play in that Antarctic of a creek.
Alright, so people were there with their dogs, but not many people. I am to assume that they are looking for jobs as well and took a break. I mean who ever heard of having a job and getting time off? Plus it makes me feel better about my situation, thinking that other people are there at the creek for the same reasons.
I feel so privileged and lucky to have such a beautiful place to get a way to, that isn't that far away either. Just about a 5 minute drive, park and walk. The creek has some awesome picture taking opportunities and I never fail to bring the camera.
It has many different flowers that grow beside it.
~*Wild sunflower*~
Also it provides acorns for the cute little squirrels that happen to make it across the road to collect.
~*Hmmm an acorn that is still there. I don't think the squirrel made it*~
~*Interesting cool picture. Someone was bored.*~
~*Finally a picture of the creek itself. So serene.*~

Awesome! Thanks for the shout out. I think I've been to that creek a couple times. It is a very nice place. There's something about being outdoors among the trees, water and wildlife that is so peaceful and uplifting. And you are certainly not alone. I have two cousins to whom I'm very close that also are looking for work. It's like the flu. It's going around.
Are you sure you didn't walk into a scene of the blair witch there?
Stacked stones are always every so slightly suspicious.
What a gorgeous corner of the earth...love the stone art....and the little acorn almost has a personality!
Very pretty pictures. Things will get better, hey you could be in my situation where the hubby and I both have great jobs, and are getting screwed by the economy too. It will get better (I'm sure your tired of hearing it) I hope, and cant get any worse......I hope! Hang in there and thanks so much for the comments. Gives me something to look forward to when I sign in! :) Jen
Walking is the most effective way to feel life, and the life that surrounds us. When I am not in the mood or when I am mad I just go out for a walk, and go somewhere silent, observe the things around me, watch people, and just let my thoughts wonder off until all my worries settle, then i would feel much better.
I would like to be there right now!
Sweetie: =) NP you were the first person that came to mind when I saw those. Had to take a picture!
Broccoli: You know that may have been the case. I am glad I wasn’t there after dark. O.o
Coconut: It is a wonder what is down the street from ones home. Yes, he was all lonesome too, the acorn that is. =)
CROATM: <----- Ya like that? Haha! Thank you for the words of encouragement, I do hope that they get better. I will just keep thinking positive! I ♥ your blog, how could I not comment?
Eemah: Walking does great relief for stress or just to get away, I agree!
Nicole: It is awesome, well when it’s not so damn hot outside. =)
It looks like a lovely place to take a walk to clear your head - strange stacked stone pillars notwithstanding!
